WHO I AM

I currently work as a Consultant General Surgeon at the Evengelismos Hospital in Paphos.

Since my appointment I have developed a busy practice in emergency and elective General Surgery. This includes the investigation of abdominal pain and gastrointestinal bleeding.

I have a special interest in all aspects of Breast Diseases including breast cancer surgery. I  routinely perform the surgical treatment of a wide range of elective conditions including cholocystectomies, groin and abdominal hernias and benign and malignant skin lesions.

I have also developed an interest in Laser proctology and perform haemorroidectomy, fistula surgery and pilonidal sinus surgery using laser.

Since 2017 I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. The letters F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon's name are an indication to the patient that the surgeon has passed a thorough evaluation of both professional competence and ethical fitness. Surgeons who become Fellows of the American College of Surgeons have passed a comprehensive evaluation of their surgical training and skills; they also have demonstrated their commitment to high standards of ethical conduct. This evaluation is conducted according to national standards that were established to ensure that patients receive the best possible surgical care.
